NGMA Bengaluru, in collaboration with the Raja Ravi Varma Heritage Foundation, announces that the exhibition "Raja Ravi Varma: Royal Lithography and Legacy" is extended upto 31st August 2016.

In conjunction with the exhibition, two films titled “Before the Brush dropped” & “The Prince of Colour: Raja Ravi Varma” will be screened on Saturday, 30th July 2016 at 11.00 am followed by a Curator’s walk by Shri Ganesh V. Shivaswamy, curator of the Exhibition at 3.00 pm.

1. Registration for the three day workshop on  'City as a Darkroom' from 14th to 16th October 2014, will start on 9th October at 10 am and close on 11th October 2014 at 5 pm.

2. Registration for the one day workshop on 'An introduction to Documentary Photography' on 19th October 2014, will start on 15th October 2014 at 10 am and close on 17th October 2014 at 5 pm."

On the occasion of India's 68th Independence day, NGMA Bengaluru is presenting an exhibition 'India and Art during Independence: Creation of a National Identity', curated by NGMA Bengaluru.

This exhibition aims to showcase 'Revivalism', an art movement started by Abanindranath Tagore in the early 1900s and the artists of the Bengal School.

NGMA Bengaluru also introduces 'Weekend Family Walks' in conjunction with the Exhibition

on 23rd, 24th 30th and 31st August 2014 on registration basis. NGMA will take upto three families (10 members per family) on first come first serve basis.
