NOTIFICATION
National Gallery of Modern Art, Bengaluru needs
the services of a Librarian on contract basis for a
period of one year from the date the incumbent joins
his duties or the date by which the post of
Assistant Librarian and Information Officer is
filled (through regular recruitment process)
whichever is earlier.
The candidates applying for the post of Librarian
should have a Bachelor’s degree in Library Science
with a minimum of five years’ experience as
Librarian in reputed institution(s). The candidates
should not be more than 60 years old as on the date
of issue of this notification. The incumbent
selected and appointed will get a monthly
remuneration of Rs. 18,000/- per month.
Eligible candidates should send their
applications to the Director, National Gallery of
Modern Art, Bengaluru with their bio-data and two
copies of testimonials by
7th March 2011. The
envelope should be marked as
‘Application for
appointment of Librarian on contract basis’.
Candidates found suitable will be called for an
interview which shall be attended by them at their
own cost. The date and time of interview will be
intimated to eligible candidates separately.
